The flat clear poly bags are made from LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene). LDPEs are the most commonly used packaging materials. These bags are sized 16 inches in width by 30 inches in length (406.4mm x 762mm) with a thickness of 2 mil. This gauge makes them stronger from 1 mil, 1.25 mil, 1.5 mil poly bags. The bags are made from seamless tubing so that there are no weak points from slits or side seals that could tear. They can be heat-sealed and FDA and USDA-approved for food packaging.
